Bao Seoul
ABOUT BAO SEOUL I'd like to start by explaining about Bao. Bao is a Taiwanese hamburger and is globally famous as street food. Unlike regular hamburger buns baked with butter and milk, our buns are steamed like Korean 'hoppang', giving them a chewy and softer texture. Interestingly, in Taiwan, the bun shape resembles a tiger biting a pig, so it's sometimes called 'Hu Yao Zhu' (虎咬豬), meaning 'tiger bites pig'! We make our bao buns fresh every day, and they are quite labor-intensive. I believe in the philosophy that 'the more effort put into food, the tastier it is.' I've tried using factory-produced buns before, but I decided to make them myself to provide customers with the best texture – slightly imperfect but sweeter and softer. I hope you enjoy them. ORDER TIP Our portions are not large. We recommend 2 to 3 items per person. We've designed the menu so you can enjoy various dishes at once.
