This traditional Thai house is built of golden teak wood, hence its name "Lueng Urai," meaning "Golden House." It is said to have belonged to a herbal doctor during the reign of King Rama V. Recently restored according to Ayurvedic principles, this house has regained its former glory and still retains its beautiful appearance.
