Le Petit Marcel, founded in 1892, takes its name from Marcellino, the first authorized puppet master at the Louvre under Louis XIV. Our restaurant pays homage to this historical past: you will discover a bar topped with Versailles marble, leaded glass tiles, antique stained glass windows, and a unique ceiling adorned with 1,000 hand-painted flowers. A place of conviviality in Les Halles, our walls hold the memory of workers, families, and the Grand Véfour, where our grandfather Renaudin worked as a saucier.
