Masala Garden








The tandoor is an essential element in Indian cuisine. This oven, made of clay mixed with straw and sun-dried cane sugar between 35°C and 55°C, is a jar 2m in diameter, 80cm high and weighing 65kg. To maintain sufficient and constant temperature, this jar is placed in a cradle of tiled bricks containing a large volume of sand. This oven is continuously heated with charcoal. Grilled items (fish, chicken, meat) arranged on skewers are placed vertically in the oven. Pains are stuck to the walls of the oven with a small cushion and cook in a few minutes.
